Having pondered on whether it would be worth installing solar panels Matt came to see and advise us. Between us we came up with a plan to not only fit panels on the roof of our house but also on the roof of our Garden room. This doubled the amount of panels we could have this making the decision to install easy. Matt and Sam arrived on the agreed date and along with their employees did a fantastic job installing all that was required for us. Not much more than a year after we had an issue with our inverter. Matt went out of his way to resolve the issue eventually getting a new inverter installed at no cost to us. We are so pleased we asked Eclipse to carry out the works and thoroughly recommend them to future clients.

Matt and his team did an excellent job from quotation, supply, fitting and also the complete overhaul and update of our home electrical system. We can highly recommend their dedication and expertise.

We had an extension and major renovation on our house around a year ago and the full electrical installation was carried out by Eclipse Electrical Services. This included a new consumer unit and rewiring of most of the electrics within the property. We were very satisfied with the quality of work and reliability and attitude of the electricians working for Eclipse. During the work Matt also proposed that we considered having Solar on the roof and provided a comprehensive quotation for both solar and battery storage. We decided to go ahead with this, and this installation was also carried out by Eclipse Electrical. The black panels on our roof look great and we have been delighted with the savings we have been making since this was installed. We used Eclipse Electrical Services to install our solar panels and battery storage in November 2023, following a long period without electricity caused by storm damage. Matt came out to our property and did a comprehensive survey to establish the number of panels that were suitable for the property and the size battery we needed. We were very pleased with quote given and gave Matt the go ahead to supply and install everything quoted for. Matt and his team worked in a tidy, professional manner (including liaising with our neighbours when access was needed to reach the side of our property). The team put in long hours and completed the installation within 3 days. Matt returned on the Saturday to finish the installation, connecting the battery to the internet so we can monitor everything via an app. We are really pleased with the panels (our electricity usage had decreased in the first 6 months of having the panels) and we’ve made use of the battery storage recently when we had a power cut and we plugged the kettle in to make a drink. I would highly recommend Matt and his team for solar panel installation, along with any other electrical works - Eclipse are a trustworthy and professional company and I was more than happy to leave them working in my house when I had to go out.

I've been a customer of Eclipse Electrical Services since 2011 when they worked hard to complete my solar panel installation before the Feed-In Tariff cut-off. Since then, they have temporarily removed my solar panels (while my roof was replaced) and more recently replaced my faulty inverter after 12.5 years faithful service. Along with the inverter replacement, Matt and his team expanded my system to include an AC coupled inverter and 9.5 kWh battery. The system is working well and I would not hesitate in recommending Eclipse Electrical Services to anyone wishing to acquire a solar PV and/or battery storage system.
