They listened to what we wanted and produced a solution tailored to our specific needs. All work was completed to a very high standard and the team were always professional in their approach. Having pondered on whether it would be worth installing solar panels Matt came to see and advise us. Between us we came up with a plan to not only fit panels on the roof of our house but also on the roof of our Garden room. This doubled the amount of panels we could have this making the decision to install easy. We had an extension and major renovation on our house around a year ago and the full electrical installation was carried out by Eclipse Electrical Services. We used Eclipse Electrical Services to install our solar panels and battery storage in November 2023, following a long period without electricity caused by storm damage. Matt came out to our property and did a comprehensive survey to establish the number of panels that were suitable for the property and the size battery we needed. We were very pleased with quote given and gave Matt the go ahead to supply and install everything quoted for. Matt and his team worked in a tidy, professional manner (including liaising with our neighbours when access was needed to reach the side of our property). The team put in long hours and completed the installation within 3 days. Matt returned on the Saturday to finish the installation, connecting the battery to the internet so we can monitor everything via an app. We are really pleased with the panels (our electricity usage had decreased in the first 6 months of having the panels) and we’ve made use of the battery storage recently when we had a power cut and we plugged the kettle in to make a drink. I've been a customer of Eclipse Electrical Services since 2011 when they worked hard to complete my solar panel installation before the Feed-In Tariff cut-off. Since then, they have temporarily removed my solar panels (while my roof was replaced) and more recently replaced my faulty inverter after 12.5 years faithful service. Along with the inverter replacement, Matt and his team expanded my system to include an AC coupled inverter and 9.5 kWh battery.
